This is a sound collage of two different, cheap synthesizers I own. The main sound is from a Kawai PH-50, which I purchased in the early 1990's. I recently refurbished it and wanted to record some of the stranger sounds.
The other synthesizer is a Gakken Analog Monophonic Synthesizer, which came as a kit you build yourself in a Japanese magazine. It's still available on ebay and some other online stores.
I recorded the two synths at different times, then combined them in my Cakewalk software with tons of added effects to tie the two together.
It's scary stuff but quite beautiful at the same time!
